However can a joint residence before marriage bring a benefit or do harm?

Psychologists conducted research with a purpose to define a benefit and harm of joint pre-marital life. Several hundreds of matrimonial pairs participated in research – approximately a half of them lived together before marriage, and kept joint house, and other pairs only dated before wedding. During several years researchers observed the life of these pairs, whether they are satisfied with their existence, and fixed all cases of divorces.

As it turned out in general, those matrimonial pairs which had time to live together before official registration of relations had more conflicts and divorces. Psychologists explain it by the fact, that such pairs before wedding tested on themselves the routine of joint living, and the process of registration of marriage didn’t become for them some border after which begun “a new life”.
